Ingrid Halmo: PRT ISAF Afghanistan

The lecture was a part of a interagency civilian-military training organised by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prague Security Studies Institute in June 2015. Ms. Halmo is an experienced mission member in pre- and post-conflict areas within OSCE, EU and international NGOs (ENEMO, The Carter Center) EOMs. Her mission "career" started with OSCE Mission to Latvia in 1996. She later joined the Kosovo Verification Mission in 1999 and OSCE Mission in Kosovo. Electoral observation followed within EU EOM in the West Bank in 2005 and 2006, Pakistan and Bangladesh in 2008, Afghanistan 2009, Ethiopia 2010, Nigeria 2011 and The Carter Center EOM in Egypt 2011/2. From 1992 to 2007, she worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, with a special mission focus as a Chief Coordinator for civilian experts within German PRT ISAF Afghanistan in 2005-6. Ms. Halmová graduated from the University of M. Bell in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia and the Diplomatic Academy, Austria.
