Veronica Zalcberg a Eric Goldemberg - MONAD Studio tvoří pulzující architekturu, která vzkvétá na sérii prostorových paradigmat založených na pohybu. Pulzace vede ke smyslovému vnímání pohybu, vycházejícího z tajemného vztahu mezi prostorem a akustickým efektem aktivovaným rytmem. Architektura má rytmus! Podle Lyotarda musí být v každém rytmu nějak začleněna podmínka pro opakování - formální totožnost a pravidelnost. Je začleněna do matice objektu, jehož cílem je takové pravidelnosti narušit a takové identity rozbít svým vlastním sklonem ke "špatné formě". Samotný rytmus, složený jak z opakování, tak z jeho nepřítomnosti, je součástí této "špatné formy". Je násilím číhajícím na formu a zároveň i formou násilí. Pulsation creates an awareness of sensual perceptionrelated to movement, an enigmatic relationship between space and sonic affect activated by rhythm. Architecture has a beat! According to Lyotard in any given rhythm, the condition for repetition - fotmal identity and regularity - must somehow be vested in a matrix object whose aim is to collapse such regularities and smash such identities in its own drive toward "bad form". The beat itself, composed of both extinction and repetition, is the form of this "bad form". It is the violence lying in wait fo form, as it is the form of violence.
Architectura z.s. provozovala v letech 2001–2022 Galerii Jaroslava Fragnera. www.architectura.cz CZE Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera, sídlící v historickém centru Prahy, je jednou z mála galerií v České republice věnujících se výhradně prezentaci architektury. Existuje již déle než půl století a od roku 2006 ji provozuje spolek Architectura. Pravidelně jsou zde představováni čeští, evropští i světoví autoři, zejména progresivní ateliéry střední a nastupující generace. GJF dlouhodobě spolupracuje s řadou evropských architektonických galerií a center i vzdělávacích institucí. Úzce spolupracuje s uměleckými a technickými vysokými školami, pořádá mezinárodní konference, exkurze, vydává publikace, pořádá i hostí přednášky. Zabývá se rovněž prezentací české tvorby v zahraničí a uspořádala několik větších přehlídek současné české architektonické tvorby. Autorské výstavy se týkají aktuálních témat, portrétů renomovaných osobností i historie 20. století. V posledních letech se GJF věnuje také problematice veřejného prostoru, udržitelné architektury a konverzí industriálních památek v podobě samostatných výstav i festivalů. ENG The Jaroslav Fragner Gallery is located in the historic centre of Prague and is one of the few galleries in the Czech Republic devoted solely to the presentation of architecture. There is already more than half a century tradition, and since 2006 it has been operated by the Architectura association. Authors from the Czech Republic, Europe and the world, especially progressive studios of middle and upcoming generation exhibit here regularly. The gallery has a long-term cooperation with a number of European architectural art galleries, centres and educational institutions. It cooperates closely with artistic and technical universities, organizes international conferences, field trips, spreads publications, organizes and experts´ lectures and master classes. It also realises presenting of Czech works abroad and has organized several major exhibitions of contemporary Czech architectural design. Solo exhibitions are devoted to current issues, renowned personalities and history of the 20th century. In recent years the gallery has also presented the subject of public space, sustainable architecture and the conversion of industrial heritage in the form of solo exhibitions and festivals.
