Learn about how to utilize Node.js, TypeScript, and socket.io to create a real-time collaborative artboard using ANSI characters as a throwback to the days of the BBS scene. Attendees will learn how to create and manage the state of the board and keep it updated for all players, accept user input via websockets, and create TypeScript declaration files from scratch for new libraries.
