This workshop will present a review of the current Mobility as a Service (MaaS) offerings in the market, which are altering the very fabric of consumer transportation. Wall Street and the OEMs see ride sharing companies, such as Uber & Lyft, and car sharing services such as ZipCar & DriveNow, substantially changing the role of auto retailers. We will outline how dealers can profit from these developments, both by entering the market directly with their own ride sharing and car sharing offerings today, and indirectly, by gearing up fixed operations to service the fleets of the national MaaS entities.
