Lisa Ochsenbein studied industrial design at the ECAL in Lausanne and at the FHNW in Basel and now works in Zürich as a freelance designer and as an assistant to the Industrial Design Department at the ZHdK. In her work, Ochsenbein is interested in future-oriented concepts and believes in the innovative power of holistic design solutions. In late 2012, Ochsenbein co-founded the Pumpipumpe initiative. As head of the project she has since promoted the sharing of daily objects in urban neighbourhoods as a way of questioning everyday consumer patterns. The project has received several international awards and has a good 18,000 participating households in Europe.
