For 38 years, the Texas Star Party, held on the Prude Ranch outside of Fort Davis, Texas, has been a place to go for some of the best skies for the amateur astronomer. Steve Goldberg will provide an introduction into the Texas Star Party: the dates, location and activities. Dark skies, camaraderie and much, much more. Steve tells us all we need to know about one of the best things you can do as an amateur astronomer.
Houston Astronomical Society is an active community of enthusiastic amateur astronomers with over 60 years of history in the Houston area.
