Nothing in these Terms of Service shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits.
If you want to know more about how we process your personal data and what your rights related to the processing of your personal data are, please read our Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you expressly relieve SlidesLive from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party website.
Accordingly, we encourage you to be aware when you leave the Service and to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each other website that you visit.

GENERAL USE OF THE SERVICE—PERMISSIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
SlidesLive hereby grants you permission to access and use the Service as set forth in these Terms of Service, provided that:

- The sale of access to the Service.
- The sale of advertising, sponsorships, or promotions placed on or within the Service or Content.
- The sale of advertising, sponsorships, or promotions on any page of an ad-enabled blog or website containing Content delivered via the Service, unless other material not obtained from SlidesLive appears on the same page and is of sufficient value to be the basis for such sales.

If you use the SlidesLive Recording Application, you agree that it may automatically download and install updates from time to time from SlidesLive. These updates are designed to improve, enhance and further develop the Recording Application and may take the form of bug fixes, enhanced functions, new software modules and completely new versions. You agree to receive such updates (and permit SlidesLive to deliver these to you) as part of your use of the Recording Application.
You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers", that accesses the Service in a manner that sends more request messages to the SlidesLive servers in a given period of time than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser. Notwithstanding the foregoing, SlidesLive grants the operators of public search engines permission to use spiders to copy materials from the site for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating publicly available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or archives of such materials. SlidesLive reserves the right to revoke these exceptions either generally or in specific cases. You agree not to collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Service, nor to use the communication systems provided by the Service (e.g., comments, email) for any commercial solicitation purposes. You agree not to solicit, for commercial purposes, any users of the Service with respect to their Content. In your use of the Service, you will comply with all applicable laws.
SlidesLive reserves the right to discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
YOUR USE OF CONTENT
In addition to the general restrictions above, the following restrictions and conditions apply specifically to your use of Content.
The Content on the Service, and the trademarks, service marks and logos ("Marks") on the Service, are owned by or licensed to SlidesLive, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under the law.
Unless the content is paid for and is used by consumers (as specified in Article 13), it is provided to you AS IS. You may access Content for your information and personal use solely as intended through the provided functionality of the Service and as permitted under these Terms of Service.
For all users, you shall not download any Content unless you see a "download" or similar link displayed by SlidesLive on the Service for that Content. You shall not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any Content for any other purposes without the prior written consent of SlidesLive or the respective licensors of the Content. SlidesLive and its licensors reserve all rights not expressly granted in and to the Service and the Content.
You agree not to circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any Content or enforce limitations on use of the Service or the Content therein.
You understand that when using the Service, you will be exposed to Content from a variety of sources, and that SlidesLive is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, safety, or intellectual property rights of or relating to such Content to the fullest extend as is permitted by applicable law. You further understand and acknowledge that you may be exposed to Content that is inaccurate, offensive, indecent, or objectionable, and you agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against SlidesLive with respect thereto, within the limits prescribes by applicable law. Furthermore, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlidesLive, its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, and licensees to the fullest extent allowed by law regarding all matters related to your use of the Service.
YOUR CONTENT AND CONDUCT
As a SlidesLive account holder you may submit Content to the Service, including videos and user comments. You understand that SlidesLive does not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to any Content you submit. You shall be solely responsible for your own Content and the consequences of submitting and publishing your Content on the Service. You affirm, represent, and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish Content you submit; and you license to SlidesLive all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to such Content for publication on the Service pursuant to these Terms of Service.
For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights in your Content. However, by submitting Content to SlidesLive, you hereby grant SlidesLive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the Content and to link the Content to other works, all in connection with the Service and SlidesLive's (and its successors' and affiliates') business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Service (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also hereby grant each user of the Service a non-exclusive license to access your Content through the Service, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display and perform such Content as permitted through the functionality of the Service and under these Terms of Service. You also grant SlidesLive and Users permission to translate the Content. The above licenses granted by you in video Content you submit to the Service terminate within a commercially reasonable time after you remove or delete your videos from the Service. You understand and agree, however, that SlidesLive may retain, but not display, distribute, or perform, server copies of your videos that have been removed or deleted. The above licenses granted by you in user comments you submit are perpetual and irrevocable.
You further agree that Content you submit to the Service will not contain third party copyrighted material (unless you have permission from the rightful owner of the material or you are otherwise legally entitled to post the material and to grant SlidesLive all of the license rights granted herein, or material that is subject to other third party proprietary rights), nor shall it be obscene, immoral or in violation of any laws.
SlidesLive does not endorse any Content submitted to the Service by any user or other licensor, or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein, and SlidesLive expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with Content. SlidesLive does not permit copyright infringing activities and infringement of intellectual property rights on the Service, and SlidesLive will remove all Content if properly notified that such Content infringes on another's intellectual property rights. SlidesLive reserves the right to remove Content without prior notice.
ACCOUNT TERMINATION POLICY
SlidesLive reserves the right to decide whether Content violates these Terms of Service for copyright infringement, its excessive length or the Content or because it is immoral or illegal. SlidesLive may at any time, without prior notice and in its sole discretion, remove such Content or disable public access to such content.
If a user breaches these Terms of Service for at least three times since the conclusion of an agreement governed by these Terms of Service, especially submits obscene, immoral or illegal Content, SlidesLive reserves the right to terminate the user's account such breach of the Terms of Service. Furthermore, if the violation includes submitting illegal content, SlidesLive will report such conduct to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for further action.

You agree that your use of the Services shall be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlidesLive, its officers, directors, employees, and agents disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Services and your use thereof. SlidesLive makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of this site's content or the content of any sites linked to this site and assumes no liability or responsibility for any:
- Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content,

The foregoing limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction.
You specifically acknowledge that SlidesLive shall not be liable for content or the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party and that the risk of harm or damage from the foregoing rests entirely with you.
However, this limitation of liability does not apply to paid digital content provided to consumers, for which SlidesLive is responsible to the extent required by applicable laws.
The Service is controlled and offered by SlidesLive from its facilities in the Czech Republic. SlidesLive makes no representations that the Service is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access or use the Service from other jurisdictions do so at their own volition and are responsible for compliance with local law.
INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SlidesLive, its parent corporation, officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Service.
- Your violation of any term of these Terms of Service.
- Your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.
- Any claim that your Content caused damage to a third party.
However, this duty to defend and indemnify does not relieve SlidesLive of its own liability to the extent that it is liable for breach of contractual obligations and any statutory warranties or obligations to consumers under applicable laws that apply to paid digital content.
This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms of Service and your use of the Service.
ABILITY TO ACCEPT TERMS OF SERVICE
You affirm that you are either more than 18 years of age, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms of Service, and to abide by and comply with these Terms of Service. In any case, you affirm that you are over the age of 15, as the Service is not intended for children under 15. If you are under 15 years of age, then please do not use the Service. There are lots of other great web sites for you. Talk to your parents about what sites are appropriate for you.

Under this agreement, SlidesLive agrees to make available to you the part of the Content you have requested, subject to the terms and conditions specified for the Content you are purchasing (for example, the number of video views possible), and you agree to pay SlidesLive a fee for doing so.
SlidesLive will make the Content available to you directly on its website. The Content should be made available to you seamlessly when you view the website in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Edge, Bravo, Opera, Safari.
COMPLAINTS ABOUT PAID SERVICES
If you are not a consumer, you do not have a right to complaint about the paid Services we have provided to you according to our limitation of liability clauses.
If you are a consumer and you paid for the Services, you have the rights that we explain to you in the Complaints Code for Consumer that forms Annex 1 of these Terms of Service.
INFORMATION FOR CONSUMERS
If you use our Services as a natural person for your personal purposes and pay us a remuneration to use the Services, you have the following rights:
The Services are considered by the applicable law as “digital services“ and the content available to the users is considered as “digital content”.
The Services work on standard computers and mobile devices with standard operating systems and browsers with access to an internet connection with a minimum download speed of 2 Mbps and upload speed of 500 kbps. Standard operating systems include in particular Windows 10 and above, macOS 10.12 and above, Android 7 and above and iOS 11 and above.
The agreement with the user is concluded in English and SlidesLive keeps it in the form of an electronic record for internal purposes; access to it is possible only upon request. SlidesLive allows the conclusion of the agreement through an interactive web interface.
SlidesLive may provide the user with updates to its Services that are necessary to keep them defect-free for the duration of the commitment and notify the user of their availability. If an update requires action by the user who fails to do so, the user shall not have any rights from a defect arising solely as a result of the failure to update. This does not apply if the user has not been warned of the update or of the consequences of failing to do so, or has failed to carry out the update or has carried it out incorrectly due to a deficiency in the instructions. If SlidesLive has warned the user at the time of concluding or amending the contract that necessary updates to the Services will not be provided and the user has expressly agreed to this, SlidesLive is not obliged to perform the updates under these Terms of Service.
The right of the user to withdraw from the agreement under these Terms of Service:
- The user may legally withdraw from the service agreement without giving any reason within 14 days of the conclusion of the agreement and thus cancel the agreement at the moment when SlidesLive receives this withdrawal. The User must send the withdrawal no later than on the last day of the period. There are cases where the user cannot withdraw from the agreement in this way. It is not possible to withdraw without giving reasons within the 14-day period if SlidesLive has started with the provision of the services within this period and at the same time the performance of the services has begun with the user's prior express consent, SlidesLive has informed the user that the provision of the services terminates his right to withdraw from the contract and has provided the user with a confirmation of giving such consent.
- The user may withdraw from the agreement according to the previous paragraph by any unequivocal statement made to SlidesLive. To withdraw from the agreement, the user may, for example, contact SlidesLive at support@slideslive.com. Once SlidesLive receives the e-mail and confirms the user, it will immediately confirm receipt to the user's email address.
- If the user withdraws from the agreement in accordance with the previous paragraphs and has paid any amount of money (price) to SlidesLive, SlidesLive is obliged to return this amount to the user in the same way as it has received it. SlidesLive will do so without delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal. Within the same period, SlidesLive shall cancel the user's account or block the user's access to the Services. SlidesLive does not always have to refund the full amount of the money (price). If the user withdraws from the agreement and SlidesLive has started with the performance of the services at the user's express request before the expiry of the 14 day period from the conclusion of the agreement, the user shall reimburse SlidesLive for the proportionate part of the agreed price for the performance provided up to the time of withdrawal.
- The user may also withdraw from the agreement in other cases where this right is granted by the applicable law. In particular, if Slideslive materially breaches the service provider's obligations under these Terms and Conditions, due to default on SlidesLive's part or defective performance.
The user may download the content of his or her account (in particular the personal or other data entered in his/her user profile) at any time during the term of the agreement or request access to the SlidesLive content within 14 days of the deletion of the user profile. SlidesLive will provide the content free of charge, within a reasonable time after receipt of the request and in a commonly used machine-readable format. It is not possible to make a request later, as SlidesLive may delete the content, in particular with regard to the principle of minimising personal data. As far as personal data is concerned, SlidesLive is also entitled to process personal data after the termination of the contract with the user (deletion of the profile), for the purposes, to the extent and for the period specified in the Privacy Policy. SlidesLive will delete other non-personal data no later than 14 days after the deletion of the profile, unless it has reasonable grounds to suspect that it will be obliged to disclose such data to public authorities or the data is anonymous or aggregated.
SlidesLive is not bound by any code of conduct within the meaning of § 1820 paragraph 1 letter n) of the Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.
If a dispute arises between Slideslive and a user under a service agreement, the user is entitled to turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, with its registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, as the supervisory authority overseeing SlidesLive's activities and the subject of out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes. Further information can be obtained on the website: https://www.coi.cz/en/information-about-adr/. The user is also entitled to address his/her complaint to the European Consumer Centre in the Czech Republic, located at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, internet address: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/?event=main.home2.show. These Terms of Service and any relations and claims related to the agreement governed by these Terms of Service (including the right to compensation for damages and unjust enrichment) shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of the Czech Republic, without respect to its conflict of laws principles, unless the user is a consumer and the otherwise applicable law gives other rights to the user which are more profitable to the user – in that case, the laws of the Czech Republic and the more profitable laws of the otherwise applicable law apply.

If any provision of these Terms of Service is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms of Service, which shall remain in full force and effect.
No waiver of any term of these Terms of Service shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and SlidesLive's failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
SlidesLive reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time and will provide registered users with notice at least 30 days prior to any such changes taking effect. It is your responsibility to review these Terms of Service for any changes. Should you disagree with the amended terms, you have the option to delete your account before the changes come into force. Continuation of the use of the Services after the change has taken effect will be considered as your acceptance of the amended Terms of Service.
Your use of the Service following any amendment of these Terms of Service will signify your assent to and acceptance of its revised terms.
You and SlidesLive agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the Services must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.
ANNEX 1 – COMPLAINTS CODE FOR CONSUMERS
Effective: May 15, 2024
How can a user complain about defective services?
Here you can find out how to complain about faulty services and what you are entitled to if you are a consumer of paid Services. The Complaints Code is part of the Terms of Service and therefore agreement with you, which means that it is binding. If the user is unsure, he/she can email SlidesLive at support@slideslive.com and SlidesLive will advise him/her on how to proceed.
SlidesLive is responsible for ensuring that the service is free from defects when provided and that it is provided in accordance with the agreement. Conformity to the agreement means in particular that the services correspond to the description on the web interface https://slideslive.com/.
What is a defect?
The Services are defective if they are not provided in accordance with the agreement.
SlidesLive is liable that the Services:
- conform to the agreed description and scope, as well as quality, functionality, compatibility, interoperability and other agreed characteristics,
- are fit for the purpose for which the user requires them and to which SlidesLive has agreed,
- are provided with the agreed accessories and instructions for use that the user can reasonably expect, including installation instructions, and user support where required,
- are suitable for the purpose for which they are normally used, including with respect to third party rights or legislation,
- correspond in scope, quality and other performance characteristics, including functionality, compatibility, accessibility, continuity and security, to the usual characteristics of services of the same type that the user may expect, including in respect of public statements made by SlidesLive, in particular advertising or labelling,
- correspond to the trial version or preview made available by SlidesLive prior to the conclusion of the agreement, if any,
- they are correctly interfaced with the user's digital environment or he/she has been provided with the correct instructions on how to interconnect the Services, if interconnection is required.
The Services defect is also that SlidesLive: 1. fails to warn the user of defects in the service which are not normally found in such services; 1. assures the user, contrary to the facts, that the service is free from defects or is suitable for a particular use; 1. provides the user with a service which is not in fact SlidesLive or to which it is not in fact entitled to provide.
The Services defect is not a deficiency consisting in a substandard digital environment of the user (substandard technical or software equipment or network connection), although SlidesLive has previously warned him/her about such equipment. SlidesLive shall not be liable for any interruptions or limitations in the availability of the telecommunications network as well as the electronic communications network (internet) through which the data transmission takes place, the speed of data transmission and any reduction thereof, the reliability and functionality of the electronic communications network and errors resulting from failures or losses in the data transmission or mobile network on the part of the user. In order to verify whether a defect is due to his/her inadequate digital environment, the user is obliged to provide the necessary cooperation that can reasonably be expected (e.g. he/she is obliged to specify what type of equipment or connection he/she uses). If SlidesLive refuses to provide such cooperation, SlidesLive does not have to prove that the defect is caused by the user's non-compliant digital environment.
Furthermore, the Services outage of a maximum of 24 hours for system maintenance and possible updates is not a defect. Short-term unannounced interruptions in service are also not a defect of the Services if they are negligible and do not occur repeatedly.
In what period do users have to complain and what are they entitled to?
SlidesLive shall be liable for any defect that manifests itself or occurs during the term of the agreement.
The user is obliged to complain about the defect without undue delay after discovering it, at the latest within a limitation period of 3 years from the moment the defect manifests itself or occurs; after that SlidesLive may not accept the complaint.
If the defect manifests itself during the term of the agreement, it is SlidesLive's responsibility to prove that the services are provided without defect.
What is the user entitled to in the event of a complaint?
In the first instance, the user may require the defect to be remedied unless it is impossible or unreasonably costly to do so in view of the significance of the defects and the value that the Services would have had without the defect; SlidesLive will remedy the defect within a reasonable time after it has been identified so that it does not cause the user significant inconvenience in relation to the content and purpose of the Services.
If (a) the defect is not remedied within a reasonable time after it has been pointed out so as not to cause the user significant inconvenience in relation to the content and purpose of the Services, or it is apparent from the circumstances that the defect will not be remedied within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to the User, or (b) the defect continues to manifest itself after the defect has been remedied, or (c) the defect is a material breach of the agreement, the user may claim a reasonable reduction in price or may withdraw from the agreement. The reasonable discount shall be determined as the difference between the value of the non-defective service and the defective service provided by SlidesLive. The user cannot withdraw from the agreement if the defect in the Services is only insignificant. If the user withdraws from the agreement, the user shall refrain from using the Services.
If the user makes a legitimate complaint about a defect, the period for making a complaint is extended by the number of days that SlidesLive takes to process the complaint. At the same time, if SlidesLive has undertaken to provide the user with the Services for a certain period of time, this period is extended by the time the legitimate complaint is being processed.
If SlidesLive has to refund the user for defective performance, we will refund the user at our own expense without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days of the date on which the user exercised the relevant right of defective performance. SlidesLive will refund the amount in the same manner as the user paid the price of the Services, unless the user expressly agrees otherwise and no costs are incurred.
The cost of the claim shall be borne by the user. If SlidesLive accepts the user's claim, SlidesLive will reimburse the user, at the user's request, for the reasonable costs of the accepted claim.
If the user has a problem with SlidesLive's handling of the claim, the user can contact SlidesLive by any means. Alternatively, if the user wishes to resolve disputes out of court, the user may contact an out-of-court dispute resolution entity. This is, for example, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority at https://www.coi.cz/en/information-about-adr/.
And, of course, the user also has the right to go to court. For example, if you the user is not satisfied with the way SlidesLive has handled his or her complaint or perhaps not handled it at all.
What to do if there is a defect in the service?
SlidesLive will need the user's cooperation to settle the claim. The user is obliged to contact SlidesLive and describe: 1. What the defect in the Service is or how it manifests itself. 1. What the specific Service is (e.g. paid video) and ideally the order number or other identification of order. 1. What the user's claim for defective performance is. 1. Name and email address of the user under which the user has registered.
The user may contact SlidesLive by any means available. It is best send an email to support@slideslive.com to ease the communication. However, it is of course up to the user which method prefers.
As soon as SlidesLive receives a complaint from a user, its emergency crew will rush to resolve everything as quickly as possible.
When will SlidesLive settle the complaint?
SlidesLive will deal with the complaint within a reasonable time, taking into account the nature of the Service and the purpose for which the user has requested it, unless the parties have agreed on a longer period. SlidesLive will inform the user of this period. After the expiry of the time limit, the user may withdraw from the agreement or request a reasonable discount.
First, SlidesLive will confirm to the user when the claim was made, what the claim is about, what method of handling the claim is requested and what contact details he/she has provided to provide information about the handling of the claim. Once this is done, the user will receive from SlidesLive in black and white the date and method of handling the claim, including confirmation of the repair and the duration of the repair. If the user is unable to acknowledge the claim, they will not hide the reasons. On the contrary, it will explain everything to the user as precisely as possible.
If SlidesLive is unable to settle the claim in time, it will contact the user. It will be up to the user to decide whether SlidesLive will agree to extend the deadline.
