I was arrested with 18 grams of cannabis at Cannafest 2016. The statement I made to the police was that the 18 grams was my medication that I brought from California. A few days later I was charged with importing marijuana. On September 19, 2017 my case was heard and I won. I had expected to lose the case and appeal the ruling to a higher court. Although I was victorious and cleared of all charges, the prosecutor appealed the case. This means the case is not over. The appeal also means this case will likely set a president for future cases and make case law in the Czech Republic. I'm a Californian marijuana business consultant, a court-qualified expert witness for Medical Marijuana cases, and a Medical Marijuana Activist.
