These models are created by data scientists who are incentivized to contribute their skills to the network. For example, model revenue is generated by models acting as oracles for parametric crop insurance, enabling automated claims or feeding prediction markets such as Augur or Gnosis. This opens up value to everyone, enabling businesses and Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) to build and trade diversified analytics portfolios based on different financial instruments such as derivatives.
