Change is hard. Changing an organization’s process, mindset, and culture without full support and accountability from executive level leadership is extremely difficult. How can a single person or small group of people influence change in the face of such adversity? This lecture will take an honest look at the seemingly impossible challenges that stem from an agile transformation, and provide real examples of the efforts required to move toward agility. It will explore the failures and successes experienced while transforming an organization across Program Increments, from the bottom up, and ultimately the top down. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to influence cross-department agility, to foster a culture of collaboration, and to position teams for success.
