Product managers are builders. However to build stuff (which we call products) we need buy-in; we also need to develop products which end users love. How do we make sure that we explain the 'Why' behind every product? How do we make sure we establish an emotional connection with our internal and external stakeholders? This is an attention economy which lacks empathy. As product managers, we need to ensure we build products by telling great stories which empathise with internal & external stakeholders. Attention + Empathy = Emotional Connection I will give you some examples of how to seek attention and empathy by telling great stories. As I firmly believe, product managers are storytellers.
