Mankind’s quest for the prolongation of life has led to amazing advancements. Christian and Valentin will share their vision on how digitalization in the medical realm will further extend the life expectancy of future generations. While several boundaries in the digital, regulatory and biological spaces exist, digitalization already provides an impactful avenue of the repurposing of existing technology, an often times ignored approach for advancement. Valentin is founder and managing director of IONIQ, an award winning smart skincare company and heads the innovation lab of Swiss based WAGNER Group, world market leader in industrial surface coating. He is a lecturer, speaker, author and advisor in the fields of innovation, leadership and digital with focus on family owned business. Valentin holds a Ph.D. in corporate strategy and actively supports the Ugandan Hope Development Initiative. A Harvard and UCSF-fellow, Christian is heading the dermato-oncology department at the Technical University of Munich and is the secretary general of the Austrian Society for Dermatology. He is a renowned scientist and scholar, practitioner and mentor, and serves as a board member of several medtech start-ups. Also holding a PhD in medical sciences, he has published in Cell, Nature Cell Biology and PNAS and is a twitter-ambassador for skin health.
