Superior Court of Los Angeles, 4 Cal. 5th 903 (2018), which set forth a three-part test in California in which all elements must be satisfied in order for a worker to be deemed an independent contractor instead of an employee. We will have three experienced franchise lawyers lead the discussion about what AB 5 says, why franchisors and franchisees must be aware of AB 5, and what issues both franchisors and franchisees should consider now.
