Charis is a senior product manager on the technology team at Rue La La. A tech veteran, she has over a decade of experience in machine learning, Big Data, new product introduction, file and hardware storage, and software development. At Microsoft, Charis was recognized as an inspiring technical leader, and was chosen for a competitive women's leadership program. Previously, she worked at EMC and SAP. Some of her accomplishments include launching a competition platform to gamify machine learning in under 2 months as a new Microsoft employee, streamlining the software patch process cycle for SAP Sourcing from six weeks to same day, creating the “best run Safe Launch program" a senior colleague said he’d ever seen for EMC’s XtremIO, and several end-to-end new product introductions at EMC, including XtremCache, XtremSF, and ScaleIO. Charis is passionate about fixing customers’ problems using design thinking.
