Daniela Rubio participates in the development and implementation of different projects regarding inclusive education and job integration for people with special needs. Daniela particularly works with Apple technologies in order to enhance pedagogical methods and help in creating accessible educational and professional materials, by giving customized support to parents, teachers and individual users. Also, she works closely with developers and evaluates different internet based platforms and mobile apps to make them more inclusive. Since 2013, she is part of the Apple Distinguished Educators global team, and since 2014, she belongs to the EMEIA Apple Distinguished Educators Advisory board. In 2015, she founded Macneticos group in synergy with other qualified consultants. Together, they carry out different projects in relation with socially sustainable digital accessibility, web, contents and apps accessibility and communication and marketing strategies among others. In 2016, she started participating in the Barcelona Singular entrepreneurs community, which is composed of accessibility consultants that evaluate the digital and physical accessibility of places like hotels, restaurants, universities, etc. from the perspective of both functional and cultural diversity.
