Didier Leys is Professor of Neurology and Head of the Neurological Department, CHU Hospital Roger Salengro, University of Lille, France. Dr Leys’s main research and clinical topics are dementia in stroke patients, atherothrombosis, stroke prevention, the management of modifiable vascular risk factors for stroke prevention, statins in stroke, clinical outcome in young adults with ischaemic stroke and creation of neurovascular units.
