Francois Mesqui

Dr. François Mesqui represents MD in interactions with European Civil Aviation Authorities, regulators and Aviation Security stakeholders. He contributes to their awareness on upcoming technologies and new processes that may shape regulatory changes and challenges. François collaborates with other European equipment manufacturers in the trade association EOS (European Organization for Security) which represents aviation security equipment manufacturers at EU level. François relocated back to Europe from the US in 2002 as VP Marketing Europe after his positions as CTO and previously VP Engineering leading the CTX9000 program from initial US certification through to manufacturing, having joined MD (originally InVision Technologies) in 1997. Francois received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 1978 and a Doctorate in Technical Sciences in 1983, both from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ), Zurich, Switzerland.
