Friederike Meckel Fischer

Friederike Meckel Fischer, MD, was born in Germany in 1947. She trained as a medical doctor and specialised in industrial medicine initially and then psychodynamically-orientated psychotherapy, and worked in a psychiatric-psychosomatic clinic. Friederike trained with Stan Grof to become a “Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator“, offering workshops until November 2015. She also trained in Psycholytic Therapy in Switzerland, and specialised in systemic therapy, family-counselling, couples therapy and family constellation, and started her own practice in 1997. She worked “underground“ with psychoactive substances first with single clients, and then later with ongoing groups in a controlled setting, ending in 2009. Her book “Therapy with Substance“ was published in 2015 by Muswell Hill Press.
