Jenny Cieplak

Jenny E. Cieplak is a counsel in the Corporate Group at Crowell & Moring's Washington office and a member of the firm’s blockchain and distributed ledger technology initiative. Her practice primarily involves mergers and acquisitions, complex joint ventures, consortiums and strategic alliances, VC and PE investments, corporate finance and intellectual property licenses. While Ms. Cieplak advises clients in a wide range of business sectors, her practice focuses on FinTech and the financial services industry, including the creation, governance and sale of electronic trading platforms, exchanges, SEFs, clearinghouses and data repositories. Ms. Cieplak also advises clients on commodities law, particularly in relation to swap transactions. Ms. Cieplak counsels clients on the implementation of new technologies such as blockchain and distributed ledgers and the development of innovative products such as virtual currencies and blockchain-based assets.
