Margaux Mira-Delefortrie initiated the Belgian branch of Timebank.cc and has been coordinating it since then. Timebank.cc is an international and participative community currency project, born in 2013 in The Hague, Netherlands. It is accessible to everyone for sharing skills and knowledge. Timebank combines the advantages of modern technology with the communal principles of living together and sharing. Timebank mediates services ranging from piano tuning to programming web applications, from bicycle repair to business consultancy. The community has grown into an active network of over 900 users (June 2013), a number that is increasing with 20 to 30 new members every month.
