Patricie Anzari

Patricie Anzari has almost 40 years of experience as a psychotherapist. In 1988 together with Marie Grofova she initiated the first (in that time unofficial) training in Holotrophic Breathwork in the former Czechoslovakia. She is a certified facilitator of Holotropic Breathwork. After the Velvet Revolution, from 1990 to 1997 she was the author and the voice of the very popular transpersonally-oriented radio show called Prameny poznani (Sources of knowledge) where she hosted all her key teachers e.g. Stanislav Grof, John Wier Perry, Ram Dass and Chunliang al Huang. Since 1990 she runs her private practice in Prague. Inspired by her teachers she developed her unique approach – Active Egolysis (AE). She established her own retreat centre located in the middle of beautiful nature in Northern Bohemia where she practices AE. Patricie studied psychology at Charles University in Prague and graduated in 1979. Further, she completed her postgraduate studies of Psychology at Czech Academy of Sciences. In 1982 she successfully defended her dissertation about group psychotherapy. From 1982 to 1989 she worked in the field of pedo-psychiatry practicing family therapy.
