Dr. Steven Schmitz is a professor at Sofia University (USA), teaches internationally, has a private practice in shamanic counseling and healing, offers shamanic journey circles, and provides ceremonies. He is President of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology (ATP) and a former Board Secretary of EUROTAS. Dr. Schmitz was initiated into shamanic practice in 1974.
