Szabolcs Takács

State Secretary for European Union Affairs Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Budapest| Szabolcs Takács has been dealing with Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary for over a decade, serving at Hungarian missions overseas. In 2012, he was appointed Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry responsible for global issues. Since July 2013, he has served as Political Director and Deputy State Secretary for security policy, supervising joint EU foreign and security policy while being responsible for Hungary’s bilateral relations with the countries of the Americas, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and parts of Asia. From late 2014, he serves as State Secretary for European Union Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary.
