Bitcoin was the first truly decentralized cryptocurrency. But the story of digital currencies began many years before Bitcoin. The freedom to transact might be the most impactful implication of the blockchain technology as a whole and it may drastically reshape our world. David is a co-founder of Blockchain Slovakia, a non-profit organization that educates people about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies. He lectures about cryptocurrencies at the University of Žilina and regularly speaks at conferences, seminars, forums, and universities. He also provides his experience to several nascent cryptocurrency initiatives in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
By creating Future Port Prague together with our visionary partners, we want to help people and businesses in our region better understand this phenomenon; not just the technology, but the deeper societal changes that will require a rethinking and rewiring of our business models and environments, our education systems, and most importantly our own mindsets.
