On PDE analysis for flows of quasi-incompressible fluids

Yong Lu, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Prague, Czech Republic Joint work with Eduard Feireisl and Josef Málek We consider a model derived from quasi-incompressible fluids. This model can be illustrated as compressible Navier-Srokes equation with a singular pressure term. We show the existence of global weak solution for this model, and we prove that in proper setting, the limit problem is a incompressible Navier-Stokes equation.
