Miroslav Pranic, University of Banja Luka, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina Joint work with Stefano Pozza and Zdenek Strakoš The (standard) Gauss quadratures are among the most popular methods for approximation of positive-definite linear functionals. We are interested in approximation of linear functionals which are not positive-definite. We demonstrate how to generalize the concept of the Gauss quadrature for approximation of quasi-definite linear functionals. We also discuss further generalization in mentioned direction.
