JD is a twenty-year veteran of the market research industry. He began his career client-side in the financial services sector and went on to hold senior positions at The NPD Group, where he was head of research and analytics in Europe. and Ipsos, where he led global sample and panel operations. Prior to joining Bakamo, he was Chief Operating Officer at AYTM, a DIY survey research platform. JD is a frequent speaker and a thought leader in the insights industry as it evolves to tackle the challenges of the digital age. He has a Ph.D. in Political Science with Distinction from The American University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in France with his wife and two sons and maintains a cheese blog at www.MFromage.fr. Daniel has been working in converging fields of Internet technology, consumer insight and communication for over 15 years. A specialist in qualitative and technology-enabled research, he worked at a string of high-profile start-ups, including Netlog, IndexTools (acquired by Yahoo!), and Replise. In 2011 he founded, built, launched and sold KwaliTools, an online video focus group platform.
