Social networking apps need to focus on genuine human interaction to ultimately be successful going forward. Many of today’s apps — from dating to networking —can make users feel alone, isolated, and de-humanized. Studies have shown that technology that was meant to bring people together has in fact pushed them farther apart. The human element has been removed. What we’re trying to do is bridge technology and the charm of old fashioned dating in order to facilitate meaningful in-person interactions.
